A trip to the Goondiwindi Botanic Gardens should be on your list of things to see and do when visiting our region.

Pack a picnic and make use of our free electric BBQ's, settle into one of the shelter sheds for an afternoon of relaxing, bird watching, or family fun games on the lawn.

Take a stroll around the lake on one of our walking paths, where you will find many plant and bird species or take a look at the Indigenous Medicinal Food & Plants Collection Garden.  If it's a warm day take a dip in the lake, or bring your kayak or paddle board to explore the water.
