Alternative Common Names

Spreading shrub to 0.3 m high with prostrate branches.

Leaves - imparipinnate, 1–2 cm long; leaflets mostly 5–7, 2–3 mm long and 1–2 mm wide, sticky, hairy (sometimes near the apex only), base wedge shaped; petiole mostly 8–15 mm long.

Flowers - solitary, stanlks up to 1 mm long. Sepals 3, ovate, 1.5–2 mm long, persistent. Stamens 6. Ovary pubescent.

Pods - usually 3-lobed, 2–3.5 mm long and 4–6 mm wide, hairy to soft downy.

Habitat

woodland on sandy-clay soil.
